HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

Giffnock Medical Centre is the main Practice site. We also have a branch surgery located within the Gorbals Health Centre. Patients can attend either site but must inform staff when making appointment if registered at other site.

Consultations are by appointment only. Routine appointment slots are for 10 minutes. Appointments can be made either in person at the surgery or by telephoning during normal surgery hours (if telephoning please bear in mind that it is always busier in the morning). Please make a separate appointment for each person wishing to see the doctor. Please do not store up a list of problems as this is time consuming and results in surgeries running over time.

If you are unable to keep an appointment please inform the surgery as soon as possible. The practice has a policy to remove persistent non-attendees from the practice list. You can cancel an appointment when the surgery is closed by telephoning the surgery number and following the instructions 'to cancel an appointment'
